Mission: La Casita offers support and community outreach to the families and children of Dobson Ranch and the surrounding community.
Purpose: To provide a safe, loving environment for children to be cared for and the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and creatively.
Ms. Jessi, Director and Lead Teacher
Hi there! My name is Jessi Feltmann!
A Passion for Early Learning: I've always had a passion for working with young children. Their curiosity, creativity, and energy are truly inspiring! I started my career in 1996 and have been able to grow my experience and knowledge over the years.
Making Learning Fun: I believe in creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow. Play-based learning is at the heart of my teaching style, as children learn best when they're engaged and having fun. I love finding ways to incorporate my interests into the classroom and keep things fresh and exciting for the kids!
A Journey Together: I'm here to support your child's social, emotional, and intellectual development. I'm excited to partner with you on this journey and help your child reach their full potential!
Beyond the Classroom: When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. They are a big part of our school, too! My husband proposed to me during a preschool graduation and both of our children came through La Casita! I am an avid reader, thrifter and coffee drinker!
Looking Forward: I can't wait to get to know each and every one of you and your child this year!
Ms. Bari
Hello! My name is Bari Brown. I am a wife and a mom of 2. I am originally from MI and moved to AZ in 2006. Before working at La Casita, I was (still am) a certified Special Education Teacher for Scottsdale Unified School District for 7 years (Social, Communication, and Academic classroom), a Charter school for a year (Resource Teacher), and then worked at a Private school for 4 years (ABA/Behavior therapy and Lead teacher). Though most of my experience has been with K-8, working with the 3-5 year olds has been an AMAZING learning experience! Not only have I felt like I helped them grow, but feel like they have helped me too!
